Inchigeelagh

Here the River Lee widens to form Lough Allua.

There is a lake drive all around it, it's a pleasant place for walking by the lake and in the adjoining hills.

There is an old penal 'Mass Rock' near the roadside close to the village.

Ballingeary

Here the River Lee widens into lakes, around which there is a lovely lake drive.

This is an Irish-speaking area, and there is a college to house young people who come to learn the language.
